I have been getting a lot of inquiries from people asking to follow/assist me on a photo shoot so they can learn. I always say “yes” to this, but unfortunately I never really get to teach a lot during a photo session because I need to really focus on my clients and the quality of images I am taking for them. Whether you are starting your own business, or you just want to take awesome pictures of your babies/grandbabies- I really, really want to help you all out SO I have decided to hold a workshop! It will be a one day workshop covering all of the following, but the main focus will be shooting in MANUAL!
-Manual Shooting
-Lenses -Prime vs Zoom, Strengths and Weaknesses of both
-Natural Lighting and the importance of artificial light
-Artificial Lighting Basics
-Composition of a Good Shot
-Contracts/Model Releases and why they are both VITAL from the beginning of your business on.
-Marketing
-Pricing- Where do you fit?
-Necessities for shooting a wedding. Things you can’t skimp on vs. things you can.
The workshop will be held Saturday, JULY 14 from 1pm- 9pm. It will be 200 per person and I will only have 6 slots available so you EACH have your own personal attention. DINNER will be included. We will be shooting MODELS during the evening so bring your camera and lenses. If you do not have a camera, I have an extra we can share. I will be bringing an off camera light set up for everyone to try. To reserve your spot, first email me, then a 50% deposit will be required. The remaining 50% will not be due until the day of the workshop.
